Summer Solstice

Summer Solstice 🌞 •|• I love you. •|• I welcome you.
I’ve shed so much skin 🐍 since the last summer solstice, and on this one I choose to celebrate yet another magnificent rebirth. This time around, a great rebirth for my physical body especially…considering my womb quite literally was reconstructed during surgery.
My precious body, I honor you, I love you. I am learning to trust you wholeheartedly again, remembering that you are my steadfast ally in this experience we choose to call life. 🌿 I hear your sacred whispers - so much more clearly these days. And I believe in us.
This time last year, I was on a hospital bed, gratefully receiving my first blood transfusion. We’re exactly 61 days post-op today. I can say that I feel good. (It’s almost too good to feel true…but I remind myself it’s most certainly a truth I’m experiencing, in this moment).
Thank you thank you thank you. I love you.
I think I’ll look back on today and remember that I am - happy.
