You’re gonna be okay

Today, I was talking to my papa about how I’m still a little scared about my upcoming surgery. It ebbs and flows, some days I feel brave, and some days I feel scared.

All it took was for him to say, “you’re gonna be okay” for me to feel all better. And he said I’ve got a lot of people (earthside and spiritside…he didn’t say this but I know he meant it) protecting me - no doubt.

So when your pops believes in your resiliency and bravery, haven’t you already won at life? I think so, too. He sees my spirit. 🙏🏼✨💎
