Lunar New Year 2022

🧧🎊Lunar New Year has always been one of my favorite times of the year to celebrate…simply because it’s also my papa’s 🥰 This photo is from a lion dance at the grocery market - 6 whole years ago. I also love that the celebrations usually last a little over 2 weeks! Like, we get 2 whole weeks to party together lol.

I don’t usually make new year resolutions, but if you like to, now is the perfect time so set your 2022 theme/intentions! Especially because we are just now starting to feel the Yang ☀️ energy of springtime. 💪🏾Yang energy gives us dat umph + motivation.

In the Western calendar, I know that many like to set new year intentions on Jan 1st….but actually this is smack dab in the middle of winter time when our Yang energy and motivation is basically at it’s lowest 😅 (it’s a time more of introspection and hibernating).

Makes way more sense to set big intentions + start projects closer to springtime, amiright?! Thx Lunar calendar for setting us up so well for receiving all that is here for us to receive. 🙏🏼 Happy tiger year, loves! 🐯
